Umpire Training

As our club is growing, with lots of teams and lots of fixtures, we need more umpires to officiate. Can you help?

Becoming an umpire is an opportunity to not only help the club, but it is something which you could include in your Personal Statement when applying for universities, or as a skill for Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

And once you qualify you will be paid to umpire!

Perhaps you could umpire before or after playing in your match, or even umpire a number of fixtures in a morning… It is quite flexible.

Anyone can apply, it is not just our younger members. Mums, dads and siblings can all train to be umpires too.

Ellen, our club manager, has e-mailed members with details of how to get started.
